    GETTING STARTED

    Getting Started

What to expect before we begin.

Generally you'll need W-2s, 1099s, mortgage interest statements, property tax records, charitable donation receipts, and any business income/expense records. We'll provide a personalized checklist after our initial consultation.

The sooner the better. We recommend reaching out in January or February to secure your spot. However, we accept clients year-round and can help even if you're filing close to the deadline.

Simply book a free consultation or call +1 (425) 699-6990. We'll discuss your needs, provide a quote, and get started.

    TAX FILING

    Tax Filing

Extensions, multiple states, amended and past-due returns.

Yes! If you need more time, we can file an extension on your behalf. Keep in mind that an extension to file is not an extension to pay — estimated taxes are still due by the original deadline.

Absolutely. We handle multi-state returns regularly and ensure proper allocation of income across all states where you have filing obligations.

We can help you get caught up. We'll assess your situation, file any delinquent returns, and work with you on a plan to resolve any outstanding balances with the IRS or state tax authorities. See back taxes and IRS notices.

Yes. If you've already filed and need to correct or update a return, we can prepare and file an amended return (Form 1040-X) on your behalf.

Rental income is reported on Schedule E of your tax return. We handle depreciation calculations, expense tracking, passive activity rules, and ensure you maximize all available deductions on your rental properties. See our page for real estate investors.

    PRICING & PAYMENTS

    Pricing & Payments

How pricing works and what is included.

Individual tax returns start at $350 (new clients get $100 off their first return). Each non-resident state return is $125; your home state return is included. Schedule C (self-employment) businesses add $250 each and rental properties add $200 each. Itemized deductions (Schedule A) are $125, each Schedule K-1 is $150, an FBAR (FinCEN 114) is $150, and Form 8938 (FATCA) is $150. Business returns start at $1,350 for S-Corps and partnerships. We provide a clear quote before any work begins. See individual pricing.

S-Corp tax returns (Form 1120-S) start at $1,350, which includes up to 2 shareholder K-1s and your home state return. Additional K-1s are $150 each. New business clients receive a $250 first-year credit. Final pricing depends on the number of owners, depreciation schedules, and additional schedules required. See business tax pricing.

We understand that tax preparation costs can add up. Please reach out to discuss payment options — we're happy to work with you.

No. We never start work without agreeing on price first — no surprises, ever. If your return turns out to be more complex than expected, we'll discuss the adjusted pricing with you first.
